It is extremely important that those facing the end of life are able to do so with grace and dignity. As an IAPCC Death Doula, I can assist you and/or your family or friend with final days/weeks/months for your loved one.
I can provide in-home services in family respite, providing comfort and support, holding space for those preparing for final days, assist in legacy and life review projects, plan and conduct living funerals and vigils, and even provide services to pets. I do not provide medical services.
It helps immensely to have family and loved ones “get more comfortable” with the process of saying farewell to loved ones. I make every effort to help that happen as easily as possible. It’s vital to honor the belief system of each client I’m serving. Although a sad time for most, death need not be scary.
We can let the light shine, even in final moments.
